Hailed as a truly stellar voice, Michelle is an accomplished soprano known for her singularly expressive and beautiful sound. As a performer, she is noted as an extraordinary talent and has enchanted audiences in a variety of genres including classical, broadway, and jazz in venues across the United States and Europe.
Praised for her epic character portrayals, Michelle continues to surprise and inspire audiences on the musical theatre stage. Some of which are: Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music at The Hale Centre Theater Orem, Miss Andrew/Bird Woman/Katie Nanna in Mary Poppins at Hale Centre Theater Sandy, Camilla in In The Heights at Hale Center Theater Orem, Nettie in Carousel, Musetta in La Boheme, and Marion in The Music Man.
Michelle was a finalist at the renowned American Traditions Competition in Savannah, Georgia. Her recent concert work includes Mary Magdalene in several productions of Rob Gardner’s Lamb of God and a soprano soloist in Handel's Messiah with The South West Symphony.
Michelle has published two albums, "My Reason" and "Winter Wonder", which have been received with great acclaim.
Michelle is a certified Utah State Schools festivals judge and a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). She has judged for many diverse sponsored events including regional and state vocal competitions, pageants and talent find competitions.
Michelle is a gifted teacher with a progeny of accomplished students. She has a master’s degree in vocal performance from Brigham Young University and has taught and inspired voice students for over 25 years.
Michelle is a mother of five children, enjoys spending time with her family, and currently resides in Alpine, Utah, with her husband, Pete.
