Michelle is an accomplished soprano and actress hailed for her "truly stellar voice" (Deseret News) and masterful character portrayals. Michelle’s vocals are known to be uniquely beautiful and expressive, with a singularly wide vocal range.  Primarily a musical theater actress, she has gained recognition in multiple genres, including opera, classical concert work, classical crossover, sacred, and jazz. She has performed in multiple venues throughout the United States and Europe.  In addition, she enjoys her work as a voice teacher and choral director and, with her wealth of expertise, is a respected adjudicator at music competitions and festivals.

On stage, Michelle captivates audiences with her roles in musical theater productions. Some of her noteworthy performances include Ida Straus in Titanic the Musical, Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music, Miss Andrew/Bird Woman/Katie Nanna in Mary Poppins, Camilla in In The Heights, Nettie in Carousel, Musetta in La Boheme, and Marion in The Music Man.

Michelle was a finalist at the prestigious American Traditions Competition in Savannah, Georgia. She has also impressed audiences as Mary Magdalene in productions of Rob Gardner's Lamb of God and as a soprano soloist in Handel's Messiah with The South West Symphony.

With two albums, "My Reason" and "Winter Wonder," Michelle showcases her musical talents beyond the stage.

As a certified Utah State Schools Festivals Judge and member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), Michelle has judged various vocal competitions, pageants, and talent-finding contests.

Michelle, who holds a master's degree in vocal performance from Brigham Young University, has been teaching voice for over 25 years, inspiring a lineage of successful students.

Outside of her career, Michelle is a devoted mother of five who cherishes spending time with her family. She resides in Alpine, Utah, with her husband, Pete.
